Palomar Solar was thrilled to partner with 600 KOGO for the 2016 MCAS Miramar Airshow. The Miramar air show is always a must see event in San Diego, but this year was especially important to us as it was our first year as a sponsor and also the 100th anniversary of the Marine Corps Reserves. With over 700,000 people in attendance, this is the largest Air Show in the United States. Between spectators, retired military and active duty it gives us a chance to all get to know each other and see a glimpse of the superb skills and elite training of our Military. The Air Show can’t help but make you feel proud to be an American.
All eyes were in the sky as the Blue Angels roared overhead. The crowd was simply in awe of their spectacular flying maneuvers and stunts, it seems like something out of a movie. We were lucky enough to meet a few of the Blue Angel pilots, American aerobatic pilot legend Sean Tucker, and even rubbed shoulders with the San Diego Chief of Police Shelley Zimmerman. The 600 KOGO Chalet was the place to be!
